Dry Powder Fire Truck
A dry powder fire truck is a fire truck that uses high-pressure gas (such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, gunpowder combustion gas, etc.) as power, and is mainly equipped with a dry powder fire extinguishing system composed of pressure-reducing valves, dry powder tanks, dry powder cannons, and guns, etc., and can independently carry out fire fighting. Generally, the most common one is the nitrogen dry powder fire truck. The dry powder fire extinguishing system of the dry powder fire truck consists of two major parts: dry powder fire extinguishing equipment and automatic control. The former has dry powder storage tanks, power gas cylinders, pressure-reducing valves, powder delivery pipelines, and nozzles, etc.; the latter has fire detectors, starter bottles, alarm controllers, etc.
When the ignition temperature of the protected object rises to a certain value, the fire detector sends an alarm signal, opens the starter bottle, and the gas flows from the starter bottle to the check valve to open the pilot bottle. The high-pressure gas enters the gas-collecting pipe, and the pressure in the pipe rises. When the pressure in the gas collecting pipe rises to a certain value, the remaining 6 power gas cylinders are opened at the same time, and the high-pressure gas passes through the gas collecting pipe, high-pressure valve, pressure reducing valve, and pressure reducing transition device and is divided into two paths, one entering the one-way pneumatic amplifier and the other entering the pneumatic constant pressure transmitter. When the pressure of the dry powder tank rises to the specified pressure, the constant pressure transmitter gives a signal to activate the one-way pneumatic amplifier, and the gas pushes gas tanks A and B through the amplifier to open ball valves B and C. The dry powder in the dry powder tank is sprayed onto the protected object through ball valve B and the nozzle of the powder conveying pipe. At the same time, the power gas cylinder is opened, and the high-pressure gas is discharged to inflate, pressurize, and spray dry powder into the dry powder tank.
